These small, self-powered boxes (no AC adapter!) are a must for any serious MIDI enthusiast's toolbox. They can be re-programmed by the user anytime to make quick adjustments for new gear, using MIDI Solutions' software, and a sequencer program or the Windows Media Player. They don't look impressive, but their capabilities are surprising!

QUADRA MERGE -- The perfect solution if you just want to send the output of your keyboards or foot controller, and maybe a PC or sequencer, to one device. The Quadra Merge accepts up to four inputs, and uses fast merging algorithms to prevent the loss of data. All MIDI data types are merged, including SysEx and MIDI Time Code. And no programming is necessary, ever! If four inputs is too many, the MERGER may be just what you need.    RELAY -- If you need to switch some non-MIDI gear, the Relay provides a set of contacts that can be turned on and off using one or more MIDI continuous controllers (CC's), SysEx strings, patch changes, key numbers, or some combination of them. The contacts are completely isolated, so it doesn't matter how your external device is wired. Perfect for MIDI support of a Motion Sound or Leslie speaker (1), or for channel switching on a guitar amp, without a foot pedal. The Relay can also be ordered pre-programmed to adapt your gear ahead of time, so it's ready to run when you get it. Real-world examples using many of these boxes can be found here. It can control your existing motor speed interface by replacing the switch or foot pedal currently used; it will not directly switch your Leslie/Motion Sound motors.
